AMWDW Featuring Firebrand (Again) by MrTomFox
AMWDW Featuring Firebrand (Again)
My Ninth episodic contribution to the "A Moment with Dr Wolf" series is now on Youtube. This week features the return of Firebrand as he struggles to balance his sense of justice against his temper.
You can find the episode here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lGgci…

Also, if said video brought you here, thanks for the visit and welcome to my tiny corner of the internet.

This is also the first episode since I updated the background.

I like how this turned out. it was just a warm-up sketch, but I needed the practice. I think when I start up the comic I'll keep the colored eye features, against her hairline it gets a little messy with a lot a crossing black lines, so giving it some color really cleared it up.

You Gals Are Great! by MrTomFox
You Gals Are Great!
I really want to thank :iconhippykat13: :iconlethalauroramage: and :icondear-cotton-candy: for being such great friends during my last few months of hardships. I've had broken computers, and miserable months, and just generally bad feels over the last couple months but these gals have been there for me. Whether it's listening to me mope or sending me some incredible fan art or even just opened up and chatted with me, I'm so happy that they were there for me (even if I'm only tolerable in small doses). Thanks for that :)

It looks a little barren, but I assure you I do a LOT of drawing it just never seems to end up here... I'm open to commissions and whatnot, don't be afraid to drop me a note (even if it's just to say hi or whatever).

How's everyone doing today? I've been trying to stay focused and work on my mountain of work, sometimes successfully sometimes not. What do you guys and gals do to stay motivated? I'm curious how other people always seem to stay so productive and I can barely keep myself on task before my mind wanders and I'm off working on other less productive things like video games or Youtube videos or other less fruitful projects that won't see the light of day anyway. Any suggestions or tips?

Hi again. I'm currently starting an AMWDW video for Dr. Wolf. However, I have a problem. I don't "how" to do the poses and expressions.

As you arguably have the most experience doing this sort of stuff, I'd like to know if you could answer these question:

1. Do I do different frames for each of the various poses and expressions that Dr. Wolf and his guests do or do I do something like a sheet of various poses that the

2. As it seems like you and the other artists for the AMWDW series don't seem to upload little to none of your content to your deviantart gallery, I'd like to know how you send your art to Dr. Wolf? If it's on your stash account, how does he gain access to it?

Sorry if you find this annoying. But these are serious questions I need an answer to.

Not a problem, I'm happy to help!

1. Typically I do sort of key frames, like poses and reactions that require redrawing and special attention, such as one for talking, one for not, maybe one for shouting or being dramatic if the script calls for it. Then I make a bunch of variables of the key frames so it doesn't look too static and boring. I usually plan a bunch of poses and then later mix in a few more just to keep it interesting. After you've made enough poses you can put them against the background like paper dolls and just swithc in and out the poses you want for what parts of the script. It's okay to reuse poses, feel free to reuse where it seems to fit otherwise you'll kill yourself drawing a million different, yet similar, things.

2. I usually just zip all the frames up using a program like WinRAR and then send it to Dr Wolf thru Skype. If you do end up using a zipping software be careful not to compress it too much otherwise the images might lose some of their quality in the process.

If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask, I'm always here.

Thank you. I'm kind of still confused about the zipping part but I could try and figure that out. I'll also try and ask Dr. Wolf if I could have his skype number so I can send him my frames.

On a side note, what do you think of the office I drew for Dr. Wolf?

I love it. I especially like the solid bright colors, it reminds me of a background from the old 70s Pink Panther cartoons.

Haha no need to apologize or anything! Sounds like me every time I try to be anything other than my usual anti social self. How are you these days? I see you're still artin' it up. I also saw you were mentioned on that "Your OC Sucks" webshow a little while back, they really liked your stuff (as they should) :)
